1. Trial charges
Cancel a paid-plan trial before the displayed trial end to avoid the first charge. If you believe you canceled on time but were charged because of a technical error, contact us within 14 days of the charge so we can investigate.
2. Monthly and annual subscriptions
Except where required by law or expressly stated below, fees already charged are non-refundable and we do not provide prorated refunds for unused time, partial months, plan downgrades, account inactivity, or failure to cancel before renewal. After cancellation, paid access generally remains available through the current billing period.
3. Duplicate, unauthorized, or incorrect charges
Contact us promptly if you see a duplicate, unauthorized, or incorrect charge. We may request information reasonably necessary to locate and verify the transaction. Confirmed billing errors will be corrected or refunded. You should also secure your account and payment method if unauthorized use is suspected.
4. Extended outage or exceptional circumstances
If a material RouteScout outage prevents meaningful use for an extended period, we may provide a reasonable service credit or refund at our discretion. Credits are not cash, are not transferable, and may expire. We may also approve an exception when fairness or applicable law requires it.
5. How to request review
Email billing@routescoutpro.com within 14 days of the charge. Include your account email, charge date, amount, and a short explanation. Never send full card numbers, passwords, or authentication codes. We aim to acknowledge requests within two business days.
6. Chargebacks
Please contact us first so we can investigate quickly. This does not waive your right to dispute a charge with your financial institution. Fraudulent or abusive disputes may result in account restriction.
